Barbara Vidale was born in Padova, Italy, in 1969. After getting a degree in foreign languages, she attended the University of Padua where she graduated in 1995 in Political Science, major in International Relations.
As an undergraduate she won a scholarship at the University of California at Berkeley, where she expanded her research in international relations and performed her thesis on US foreign policy in the Middle East. In 1997 she obtained a Master degree in Management of Tourism at the University Ca’ Foscari at Venice.
Later that year she began her career as Executive Assistant for international firms, focusing on corporate relations, foreign trade and customer care. In 2002 by joining an American Biotech she specialised in providing support to antiviral research, mainly in the field of HR, accounting and EU Funding management.
Currently Barbara works as Project Manager for the ITN Translocation project at the Department of Physics, University of Cagliari, Italy.
