Jenifer Cuesta Bernal

jenifer-visoJenifer Cuesta Bernal was born in 1987 in Bogotá, Colombia. She completed her undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2010 and two years later, she earned her MSc Degree in Biochemistry from the same University. In 2013 she moved to Germany to pursue her scientific career.

Currently, Jenifer is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow within the ITN translocation Project and is enrolled as a PhD student at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, in the group of Prof. Klaas Martinus Pos. Her research interests include Membrane Protein Biochemistry, X-ray Crystallography and Antibiotic Resistance.
